a hugege lightning bolt injured eight people there. reportrt jeff diel of station wftv in orlando has the details. reporter: u uer darkened skies at seaworld, lightning crashed down. i ve never been scared by lightning until today because it was right above us. it was really, really scary. reporter: guests at the park say they were warned severe weather was on the way. they told us to clear the pool. clear the pool, so we came out of the pool ananwere sheltering underneath. and then there s a huge crack. reporter: a bolt of lightning cut to the ground, striking near several people. seaworld officials sayay eight people felt the shock. three guests and five employees were rhed to dr. phillips hospital as a precaution. our cameras saw these seaworld vans in the hospital parking lot. emergency crews don t think anyone took a direct strike. taking a look at the discovery cove map, we ve learned the three guests were near the laguna patio and five employees were near adventure pho
