Kate Young, spokesperson of Metro Dumaguete Water (MDW), told the Philippine News Agency on Monday that the Dumaguete City Water District (DCWD) has deferred the water rate hike to help the people who are still reeling from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the onslaught of Typhoon Odette, and the current hike in fuel prices.
