Cops seize P4 7-M shabu in NegOr capital

DUMAGUETE CITY -Authorities have seized some PHP4.7 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust in Barangay Bajumpandan here. The Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) on Thursday identified the suspect as Pnedathon Ramos Azes, 33, of Purok Camia, Barangay Calindagan. He was arrested around 8:07 p.m. Wednesday after he allegedly sold suspected shabu to an undercover agent in Purok Katubhan in Barangay Bajumpandan. Seized were seven heat-sealed plastic sachets of different sizes containing suspected shabu granules with an estimated total weight of more or less 700 grams with a standard drug price of PHP4.760 million. Azez, tagged as a high-value individual on the police's list of suspected drug personalities, will be charged with the violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
