EAST ROCKHILL â Township meetings are back home. Obviously, we re in the building now. It s been a long time coming, township engineer Steve Baluh said at the Feb. 23 East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors meeting.Â
The meeting was the first one in the new meeting room that was part of renovations and an about 1,800 square foot addition to the township office building on Ridge Road.

The project is not fully completed, but is close, Baluh said. We purposely kept the punch list open past this meeting to make sure that the board had ample opportunity to look around the facility and raise any questions, he said.

One major way individuals look to do their part in making a positive contribution towards the environment and to hold on to our natural resources is to recycle.
We are all used to separate our plastics, bottles and paper items from our garbage, throwing them in our municipal recycling blue bin and putting it out on the curb every other week without a second thought.
But what happens to the items that are not properly recycled? Where do they end up? How does this impact us?
According to the Region of Peel, items that aren’t recycled properly are considered garbage and are sent to the landfill.
