Appointments for vaccinations at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center can be scheduled at vax4nv.gov/patient/s/. Vaccinations also will be available for those without appointments.
Appointments and walk-in vaccinations for Washoe County residents 12 and older also are available at local Walmart, CVS and Walgreens locations.

The Washoe County Health District invited 500 randomly selected individuals from the 65-69 age group for COVID-19 vaccinations, local health officials said in a press briefing Thursday.
Health officials continue to see individuals show up to the Reno-Sparks Livestock events center, where the Point of Dispensing (PODs) are located, without making an appointment.
They urge people to get on the waitlist for an appointment by calling them at 775-328-2427 or by visiting their website at www.Covid19WashoeVaccine.com. Individuals on the waitlist are selected at random by the health district, which then emails or calls to set the actual appointment.

There are 80 new COVID-19 cases and one additional COVID-19 related death reported for Washoe County as of Sunday morning, according to the Regional Information Center.
A man in his 70s with underlying conditions died, according to health officials.
There have been a total of 42,016 COVID-19 cases and 616 deaths in the county as of Sunday. A total of 58,873 vaccine doses have been administered.
