The expansion is designed to help boost recruitment and is part of overall efforts to increase support for students, both from inside Washington and beyond its borders, ahead of the fall 2023 semester.
The event is from 3–5:30 p.m. each day, with student peer experts and staff available in the Commons Student Center Room 210 on the Pullman campus as well as virtually via Zoom.
WSU Faculty Senators discussed declining enrollment and upcoming payment plans during their meeting Thursday. Enrollment Undergraduate enrollment at public four-year institutions around the country declined about 3.8%. At WSU, enrollment declined 4%, said Saichi Oba, vice provost for enrollment management. Projected enrollment largely impacted the Everett, Tri-Cities and Vancouver campuses. Oba said retention is the linchpin.
