It was labeled a hazardous materials incident at the Comfort Suites at 120 W. Third St. Lysek said it was a haz-mat scene to determine if something hazardous played a role in the deaths. The public was not in danger, nor were other guests at the hotel, he said. Nearby rooms were evacuated, but the entire hotel was not cleared, police said. Asked if anyone reported feeling ill, police said they would not comment because it was an ongoing investigation.
