A family was displaced and two businesses had water and smoke damage, Bethlehem Fire Marshal Craig Baer said. The three-alarm fire broke out a little after 7 p.m. in a row of businesses and apartments in the 500 block of West Broad Street. Fire Chief Warren Achey previously said three people were working on the roof above the western end of the row, which includes apartments on the second floor and the Bethehem Furnace Co. and Pho Bowl on the ground floor.
