NEW YORK (AP) Mort Janklow, a colorful former corporate attorney who raised high the power of the literary agent as he brokered big advances for publishing, political and entertainment leaders, from Ronald Reagan and Al Gore to David McCullough and Barbara Walters, has died.
Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza has also opened in Boca Raton, while SoBol will open March 31 in Boynton Beach and Akira Beck will debut March 25 in Delray Beach. Meanwhile Spatch Peri-Peri Chicken closed in Fort Lauderdale and Via Vai Italian Deli has been sold in Wilton Manors.
The Gringo Empanadas and More has also opened in Delray Beach, and Akira Beck will open March 25 inside the Ray hotel in Delray Beach. Also coming soon: the delayed Carousel Club at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach is now set to debut April 1.
Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar will open March 18 in Plantation, and the gastro pub Bar 25 will open later this spring in Delray Beach. But after 26 years, Monster Subs in Fort Lauderdale has closed.
