Relisha rudd was last seen in the company of kalil tatum who worked at the homeless shelter where the family had been staying. The police have searched other areas in recent months. After relisha believed was reported missing Police Believe he killed his wife before taking his own wife. Police also believe tatum killed relisha and disposed of her body somewhere in this section of the city. Volunteers with search and rescue dogs can be seen going through the woods and Police Cadets can be seen conducting grid searches. Divers would search a pond as well but a Police Spokesman said that wouldnt happen until tomorrow. We continue to follow up on any information that we receive, that may lead us to a different search area o different people that we need to talk to. I think it is culture and i think it is a deliberate decision that is needed on the part of everyone involved in this to focus relentlessly on safety. Reporter one Metro Official with direct knowledge says mondays electrical cable meltdown at Mcpherson Square was eerily similar to the deadly Lenfant Plaza smoke incident last year. In fact, this official says of mondays smoke episode that if it happened later on during the height of morning rush, just a few hours later, it could have been another deadly incident. Metros also called in electrical engineers from other Commuter Rail systems and amtrak to help with their cable inspection effort. Bruce, according to Library Officials this means cuts in a lot of different places. Including fewer outreach programs and staff members. Both the ladd library and this Downtown Location will also be forced to close one day a week. While workers say theyre not sure of specifics, they have studied what hours and days are less busy over the past several months. That data will help officials begin to make decisions.
