Week but theres no question overall two big things stuck out to me. First of all this week was an extraordinarily reminder of just how much legal trouble the legal president is in. Its really something to have all eyes glued on the courthouse in washington, d. C. Watching what jack smith is going to do, waiting for an indictment in the investigation and his attempt to overturn the 2020 election, only to have a new separate Superseding Indictment Draft in the investigation into his mishandling of classified documents. All happening within the span of hours. You really cant make this stuff up sometimes. And put 1 figure on this mountain of legal trouble, just last night the Washington Post came out with a new piece detailing the more than 40 million trumps Political Group is spent on legal costs to defend not just trump, but his advisers and others in the first half of this year alone. The first half of this year alone, at 40 million from Trump Supporters all across the country footing l
Important discussions we have had this week. The Supreme Court has agreed now to consider former President Trumps claim of president ial immunity in his federal Election Interference case. We it will further delay a potential trial. The high court has scheduled arguments for april 22nd, and a final ruling might not come until months later at the end of the term in june. If the court ruled in favor of trump the special counsels charges would be dismissed. The u. S. Court of appeals unanimously ruled trump does not have absolute immunity. The Supreme Court does affirmed that, the delays still would push the start of the trial probably into the fall. Lets bring in former litigator and msnbc Legal Correspondent lisa rubin, and former u. S. Attorney and msnbc legal analyst joyce vance. Good morning to you both. Lisa, lets pause for a moment, i think this was shocking used a lot of people, lets talk about what the decision is and what it is not, it does not mean the supreme agrees that donal

Also tonight, how President Biden is doing after a tumble on stage while visiting the air force academy. New details on what caused it. Later, a conversation with a sherpa guide, who saved a climber barely clinging to life in the socalled death zone on mount everest. Good evening. We beginning with a story about the former president caught on tape and admitting to people without the proper Security Clearance that he kept a classified document, and might even have been waving it around, or waving it around as he spoke. Were going talk right now with Kaitlan Collins and cnns alyssa farah griffin, who join me now. Earlier today, former President Trump was shouted questions about cnns exclusive reporting, did not answer those questions. What does it say to you . This is the former president who speaks out about just about ev
