definitely heating up. so let s talk about the gaza piece of this. israel s war cabinet postponed discussion of what they want to see that territory look like when hostilities fade. how does that align with what the biden administration is looking for? well, i think the biden administration would have liked potentially to see the palestinian authority have some kind of role in a new government of gaza, but i think israel has pretty much ruled that out, so they re going have to come to some sort of compromise here. the other thing israel did announce this week it would withdraw thousands of troops from gaza. they said the reason for this reduction would be the growing toll on the economy but the biden administration has been pressuring israel for months now to move from this higher intensity bombardment of gaza
