You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge”, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent». (

UPDATE ON JULY, 4, 2021
Donald Rumsfeld, the two-time US defence secretary who was one of the main architects of the Iraq war, has died at the age of 88, three days ago. Serving under President George W Bush, he was a key proponent of the so-called “war on terror” after the 9/11 attacks.
US forces invaded Iraq in 2003 after claiming the country had weapons of mass destruction, but no such weapons were found. Mr Rumsfeld resigned three years later amid the fallout from the conflict. He staunchly defended his record, but many experts blamed him for decisions that led to difficulties in Iraq and the wider region.

The Republican head of the House’s China Task Force revealed new testimony that the Chinese military may have taken over the Wuhan Institute of Virology earlier than previously reported, which he said added evidence indicating COVID-19 originated in the lab.
Rep. Michael McCaul, ranking GOP member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, made the revelation during a Tuesday panel presentation organized by House Republicans on the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis.
“New testimony now received by my committee reveals the Chinese military potentially took over this lab, not in January 2020 as was reported, but earlier in 2019,” McCaul said. “The Chinese military were actually in the facility at the time of 2017. That signals the CCP was worried about something at the lab before the world even knew what COVID-19 was. Why else would they put the Chinese military in charge?”

In May 2019, the Wuhan Institute of Virology s staff filed into an old-fashioned lecture hall. A local representative of China s National Administration for the Protection of State Secrets was at the lectern.
The official, Tang Kaihong, discussed the national security risks of the institute s research and warned of infiltration efforts by foreign spies, according to an account published by the institute s parent organization, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The researchers signed pledges to protect confidential information.
The Wuhan lab has drawn global scrutiny because of its research on bat coronaviruses in the city where the pandemic began. The events have shined a light on a research niche that in China, the United States and elsewhere operates with heightened secrecy because of the national security risks of handling deadly pathogens.
