Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition is back on sale
Xiaomi has returned to the sale of the inexpensive flagship smartphone Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition.
The model debuted in November 2020, but soon disappeared from store shelves due to a shortage of components. A week and a half ago, Xiaomi’s head of new products, Wang Teng Thomas, promised to fix the situation soon. And now, the promise is fulfilled.
Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition starts at $402 for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal flash storage, as well as $433 for the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal flash storage.

Redmi s First Gaming Smartphone Confirmed to Launch This Year, May Feature MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is well-known for its budget offerings, but it appears that the company will enter the gaming smartphone segment with a new device this year. Redmi general manager Lu Weibing in a post on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo has revealed that the Redmi gaming handset would come at a price that cannot be refused, although its exact details remain unclear, at the moment. Additionally, the company executive has announced that a new Redmi device would pack the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC which further features an integrated 5G modem. It is unclear whether this MediaTek-powered handset and Redmi’s aforementioned first gaming phone are the same devices.

Xiaomi is not holding back with its K series on its smartphone releases as it recently unveiled that it would release more than one variant of the Redmi K40 that features the Snapdragon 888 chipset, coming soon for release. The Chinese smartphone s K series is known to be its sub-brand and mid-tier smartphone but would have multiple releases, as opposed to the usual trends.

Despite its mid-tier status, it would feature some of the top specs an Android smartphone has seen, making it one of the best budget smartphones available.
