Huawei Enjoy 20 SE is launched with 5G support and a 5000 mAh battery

The Huawei Enjoy 20 SE has a 6.67-inch Full HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) display with a notch at the top center. The aspect ratio of the screen will be 20:9, while the display occupies 90.3% of the front panel.
The front camera has a 16-megapixel image sensor, and a quad-camera with sensors with a resolution of 48, 8, 2 and 2 megapixels is installed on the back.
A few days ago, Huawei officially released the Harmony OS 2.0 beta for smartphones. This new Harmony system is already available for some Huawei phones. According to reports, the Harmony OS will be available for all Huawei phones by next year. As of now, developers with the Huawei P40 or Mate 30 series can apply to participate in the testing.
At the press conference, Huawei exhibited a smartphone with Harmony OS. The demo shows the features of the Harmony OS. Looking at the operation of the phone in the demo, it is not much different from Android-based EMUI. It is technically the same in terms of operation and interface design. However, a Huawei on-site staff recently claims that the demo only shows the distributed capabilities of the system. Huawei launched a new variety of the S-series Smart Screen and a vehicle-mounted smart screen carrying the updated Harmony operating system (OS) on Monday, further major steps toward building a complete ecosystem based on its own OS.
The new smart screen is among Huawei s first products to carry the updated OS called HarmonyOS 2.0. Huawei released the beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0 to developers in September, and it just launched a beta version for mobile phones on December 16.

Late last year, Huawei announced its very own operating system, HarmonyOS. At the time, it was believed that the operating system would be for other Huawei products such as tablets and smartwaches. But things have changed and the company has confirmed that it will be in all products.
ChinaDaily reports that the company said on Wednesday that it plans to expand its operating system to all of its products, including smartphones and tablets. The news site adds that Yang Haisong, vice-president of software department at Huawei’s consumer business group, said that, so far, over 100,000 software developers have participated in the development of HarmonyOS projects.

Huawei Technologies Co said on Wednesday that it plans to expand its in-house operating system HarmonyOS to all of its self-developed products, including smartphones and tablets next year, as the Chinese technology giant accelerates its push to build a robust app ecosystem amid the US government restrictions.
Yang Haisong, vice-president of the software department at Huawei s consumer business group, said that, so far, more than 100,000 software developers have participated in HarmonyOS development projects and the number of hardware partners has risen from five to 10.
The comments came as Huawei on Wednesday released a developer beta version of HarmonyOS 2.0 targeting at smartphone app developers, as the Chinese technology giant works to prepare for transition from Google s Android operating system to the self-developed HarmonyOS.
