Beijing, Dec 16 (Prensa Latina) Chinese technology company Huawei presented its HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta, the new version of the operating system for mobile phones developed by it due to the impossibility of obtaining applications and updates from Android and different Google services.
Wang Chenglu, an executive of the company, said that the OS will facilitate the fluid interaction between different devices, from cell phones to robots.
He announced the exit in 2021 of smartphones and tablets with the system included for the national market, although international incursions later to recover lost markets in the middle of the US offensive are not ruled out.

The way Huawei speaks about the newest version of HarmonyOS, you’d think they didn’t need Google at all. HarmonyOS is the operating system Huawei is using to diverge away from the OS they’ve used most commonly on smartphones so far: Google’s Android. With the release of HarmonyOS 2.0, Huawei’s broken past the point of “will it work” straight into “Google might be worried.”
In an announcement this week, Huawei made HarmonyOS 2.0 a reality. They offered access to developers of all sorts as they’ve delivered a vision for the future. Their vision is one of multi-device experiences powered by artificial intelligence and the speed of 5G connectivity.
According to a new report from a Weibo leakster, @勇气数码君, some developers already have the mobile version of Harmony OS 2.0. However, it seems that only the kernel is updated. According to hi, looking at the user interface of Harmony OS, it is not very different from EMUI 11. The leak also claims that Harmony OS 2.0 beta supports Android apps. As of now, we can not ascertain the authenticity of this report. When the official Harmony OS 2.0 arrives, it will offer completely new content (both UI and UX: user experience).
Previous reports show that Huawei will release the Harmony OS 2.0 mobile phone developer Beta plan tomorrow (December 16). In the afternoon of the same day, Huawei experts will explain the key features of this system. They will also explain the development tools of Harmony OS 2.0 mobile Beta.
