in our america tonight, a florida boy had an important reason when he called 911 thursday, but there was no emergency. as the walton county sheriff s department posted on its facebook page, billy called to invite the entire department to come eat thanksgiving dinner with him and his family. with all of the bad calls we take on a daily basis, this one was a welcome, happy call that made us all smile, said lead communications officer monica webster. in fact, the department was so touched a pair of sheriff s deputies paid billy a special visit, and they gave the boy a sheriff s badge as we see right here, and even let him sit in their patrol cars. i bet he will always remember that. of course, the department says he does not encourage the use of 911 for not emergencies, but that they were honored at the dinner invitation. i bet that is a thanksgiving they will all never forget. thank you so much for watching. i m pamela brown in washington. i will be back tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. eastern and
