The council planned to approve action to install surveillance cameras on the freeway. Alex savidge joins us with more on the push for the cameras reporter these may be the first cameras installed along the freeway here in the bay area, specifically to deter crime. The plan that they have here is to install as many as 10 surveillance cameras. They will be installed along this particular stretch the highway, about a four mile stretch.
