The National Weather service, they have used Jupiter Inlet as a marker for a lot of warnings there, their advisories. They had put a storm surge warning in effect for all of the areas north of Jupiter Inlet. They listed the advisory for areas that are south of Jupiter Inlet. We are right next to that inlet. Is expected to become a category four storm by the time it makes landfall late monday or early tuesday. That means more than 130 mile per hour winds. Many gas stations across florida have already run out of fuel. The governor says the state is pulling out all the stops to try to bring in more fuel going forward. Floridians need to be prepared. This is potentially a multiday event where it will churn slowly across the state. Fuel is an issue. Theres gas station ths that ha run out of fuel. Were also going to be implementing escort trucks for fuel trucks so we can facilitate refuelling in critical parts of the state. Theyre also looking at evacuations possibly.
