The Hamilton community continues to remember Robert A. Leonardi, a 9-year-old who was killed by a car last year. Robert s Run is a 5k and 1 Mile Run/Walk August 7th that is raising money for children s education and play.
Registration has already started online and the event starts with the 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. and the 1 mile run/walk at 9:30 a.m. that morning at the Hamilton High School parking lot. The route will take entrants along Kurtz Lane over to the RAL (Robert A. Leonardi) Trail , which starts on Golf Course Road in Robert s neighborhood and sidehills private property along Big Corral Road north to the East Side Highway (photo above). The race concludes at the Hamilton High School stadium. The race course is mainly paved surfaces, but the RAL Trail has dirt surfaces.
