With crews out here more than four hours at this point they are simply trying to recover the bodies of the two men that went into the water and never came out. According to the Police Incident commander, the accident on the water happened about 7 00 tonight. There were several people aboard an inflatable raft. Four fell into the water. Two got back aboarding but the other two didnt of emergency crews arrived and launched an aggressive rescue effort. But at this point it is no longer a rescue. Reporter officers say they will continue to volunteer for 49ers games thanks in part for the santa clara mayor for supporting them while offering words of caution. First a warning and now a change of heart for Santa Clara Police officers, about 70 of them typically volunteer to work over time at 49ers games, but last friday the police union said they might stop, upset over Colin Kaepernicks statements about Police Officers and the fact he wore socks at a practice showing pigs in police uniforms. I am hearing it this week that next week on monday night football some officers are not going to work. I do want to go now to the bay bridge is never picture of the lower deck of the bay bridge eastbound and i want to show you that traffic will be slow eastbound because of an incident with a pedestrian on the bay bridge. Eastbound coming out of San Francisco getting out to the open area there is a pedestrian there is some sort of activity there. Theres not a lot of traffic coming out of San Francisco but if you are leaving San Francisco for the east bay there is going to be some slow traffic. We will be watching 80 as you drive on the commute. This is a look at the lower deck of the bay bridge and you see plenty of Police Activity on the lower deck of the bay bridge. Now if you are leaving you can still get through but it will be slow eastbound. Again because of a pedestrian on the lower deck of the bay bridge.
