The double murder happened in the 1600 block of 17th street southeast. Police tell 9news 21yearold Irving Ingraham and a 21year old were fatally shot inside their apartment. The toddlers were unharmed and now are in the custody of child protective services. What happened to them is tragic. But the children, you know, thats something that, you know, theyll never know exactly what, why, you know, the scars that theyll have. Police have not disclosed the relationship between the children and the adult victims or if there were signs of forced entry. Investigators are interviewing witnesses about the shooting.
