Bharti Airtel said on Friday it has entered into an agreement with Vodafone to buy its 4.7 per cent equity stake in Indus Towers on conditions that the proceeds will be used for investments in debt-ridden Vodafone Idea and clearing dues of the mobile tower company.

Vodafone Qatar continues to display its role as an important technology partner supporting the country’s sports sector as the Official Communications Partner of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2021 Golf Tournament for the second year in a row.
As part of the sponsorship, Vodafone’s GigaNet network will power the tournament venue- Education City Golf Course- with both fibre and mobile coverage, including 5G, giving the organisers, players and spectators the crucial seamless connectivity needed.
This connectivity will also enable the live TV broadcasting of the tournament around the world. Taking place from March 11-14, 2021, the Qatar Masters tournament, now in its 24th year, is a major feature on the European Tour Calendar, attracting the world’s top golf talent.
