The FA announced this morning that the Womenâs Vitality Cup will return on 4 April, where Sunderland Ladies will play host to fellow FAWNL North team Sheffield FC.
The second-round cup tie was supposed to take place in January, in a novel game at the Stadium of Light but was postponed due to the cessation of ânon eliteâ sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A victory on the 4th will see SAFC Ladies progress to the next stage and face the winner of Burnley vs Fylde in an away match in the third round of the competition â to be played exactly a week later, on 11 April.
