Think i would have voted for tpa. But its a fair point. I think its unfair to say the critics were entirely protectionist or unfriendly to free trade because, of course, its a funny kind of free trade deal. Im old enough to remember that free trade deals were simple everyone got tariffs and they were eight pages long and they were free trade deals and now they are 500 pages and i dont know if its a free trade deal.
