We work hard together digging our way out of the deep economic hole. And now we are prepared for Rhode Islanders for success in a fast changing economy. Right now in rhode island. We have more than half a million jobs in our state. Thats more jobs than we ever have in our states history. Unwavering commitment to make sure that the special counsel cannot be fired, that this investigation cannot be a victim of political interference. The president has indicated that he is averse to hearing about russia or considering its threat to this country. That aversion certainly sets back his ability to defend this country against the russian threat through sanctions and other means and deterrence that will assure that russia is made to pay a price so they do not do it again. [ applause ] you know, four years ago, our Unemployment Rate was the highest in america. Today its in line with the national average. The number of people filing for Unemployment Insurance last year was the lowest it has been in 50 years.
