Earlier this month, the government had accepted an offer by Talace Pvt Ltd, a unit of the holding company of the salt-to-software conglomerate, to pay Rs 2,700 crore cash and take over Rs 15,300 crore of the airline s debt.
The airline in an order stated that if the repair of aircraft parts is going to cost more than Rs 10 lakh, it has to be first approved by the Executive Director Engineering.
The procurement of expensive aircraft parts will be done only after the approval of either the Director Finance or Executive Director Finance, Air India said on Sunday.
