A young man was killed in an IED (improvised explosive device) blast suspected to be planted by Maoists in Kandhamal district of Odisha on Wednesday, police said.The incident occurred near a Maoist poster put up near Sadingia-Kiamunda village .
PRAYAGRAJ: The Covid-19 vaccination program rolled out in North Central Railway (NCR), on Friday.
On the opening day, 28 railway doctors and 43 other primary healthcare personnel and hospital staff were immunized at central hospital of NCR, at Prayagraj.
In line with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines, Railway Board has already advised for vaccination of primary health care workers of Railways. In its letter dated January, 12 Railway board has also asked to compile data of front-line workers of all departments of Indian Railways (IR) who are at greater risk of exposure to Covid-19 infection and list of such frontline workers belonging to different departments is being worked out on Prayagraj, Jhansi and Agra divisions, workshops and other units of NCR, informs chief public relation officer (CPRO) of NCR, Ajeet Kumar Singh.
