STRATFORD School administrators are meeting this week to come up with a plan for more in-person learning at the town’s two high schools, the superintendent told the Board of Education.
Students in kindergarten through eighth grade have had the option to be in school for four days a week since Feb. 1.

STRATFORD The town’s public schools are in line for $4.3 million in federal funds for coronavirus relief but the money must be used for expenses related to COVID-19 and cannot be used to plug holes in the budget.
School officials told Board of Education members during a budget hearing Wednesday about the grant and that they don’t yet know what they will be spending it on.
“We will be working to do a needs assessment and to determine what our plan is,” Superintendent Janet Robinson said. “Expect a very detailed plan on how this is going to be used.”
