Formerly a place of worship for the protestant (Church of Ireland) community and more recently, a venue for the performing arts (The Village Arts Centre), this building in the heart of Kilworth village is of historical and architectural importance.
Popular entertainer, Sean Keane, made a welcome return to Kilworth last Friday night - performing in Kilworth Community Centre and not the Village Arts Centre which is still undergoing renovation works.
This year's 'apple pressing' service in Kilworth was expanded to include other attractions - all aimed at raising much needed funds for the ongoing restoration of the Village Arts Centre.
