Vikram S Rocket: The Indian space sector today took a giant leap as ISRO successfully launched the country s first privately developed rocket -Vikram S rocket- by Skyroot Aerospace.
Following the successful execution of the Prarambh Mission Skyroot co-founder & CEO, Pawan Kumar Chandana said the event symbolised the potential of New India, where a small step by a space startup translated into a giant leap for the Indian space industry.
The mission named Prarambh or “the beginning” will be launched from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) spaceport at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota off the Andhra Pradesh coast at 1130 hrs on Friday, November 18.

Space technology startup Bellatrix Aerospace has partnered with its peer Skyroot Aerospace to ferry small satellites into multiple orbits.
Bellatrix Aerospace, which is creating a vehicle that will work as taxi in space , will launch on the Vikram rocket of Skyroot Aerospace.
