Within a week of the launch of the country’s first privately built rocket, the Vikram-S, it’s now the turn of satellites of two other startups, Pixxel and Dhruva, to get deployed in the Earth’s orbit on Saturday. But this might just be the beginning.
Following the successful execution of the Prarambh Mission Skyroot co-founder & CEO, Pawan Kumar Chandana said the event symbolised the potential of New India, where a small step by a space startup translated into a giant leap for the Indian space industry.
The mission named Prarambh or “the beginning” will be launched from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) spaceport at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota off the Andhra Pradesh coast at 1130 hrs on Friday, November 18.
The country’s first privately developed rocket, Vikram-S, is poised to create history as it undergoes final launch preparations at the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO’s) launchpad in Sriharikota.
