Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], March 8 (ANI): The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Sunday released its campaign slogan Puthiya Keralam Modikoppam (New Kerala with Modi) for the forthcoming Assembly elections here.
The campaign slogan was unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a valedictory function of BJP s Kerala Vijay Yatra led by BJP state president K Surendran at Shanghumukham.
Speaking at the event Shah criticised both Left Democratic Front (LDF) and United Democratic Front (UDF) and urged the people of Kerala to give a chance to NDA to develop God s own country to number one state in the country.
Speaking at a rally attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Kerala on Sunday, the octogenarian said he decided to take the political plunge at this age to work for the development of Kerala.

Addressing the gathering state BJP chief K Surendran said only the saffron party can save Kerala.
“People here are seeking a change from the corrupt fronts of LDF and Congress. The reformers have dreamed of a Kerala which is not this Kerala,” he added.
I always wanted to do something for Kerala: E Sreedharan
Sreedharan had joined the BJP last month during its state chief K. Surendran s yatra in Malappuram district.
“The decision to join the BJP marks a new phase in my life. I always wanted to do something for Kerala. I felt it would be best to join the BJP and I have done that,” Sreedharan had said.
"I am still energetic and want to utilise my energy for the state of Kerala. Whatever responsibility is given to me I will take it up with all courage and energy," Sreedharan said at the concluding function of Vijay Yatra taken out by BJP state president K Surendran from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram, ahead of the April 6 assembly polls.
