Apni Party Trade Union organizes convention

JAMMU, Apr 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party president, Altaf Bukhari today said that traders were worst effected with the developments after August 5, 2019 scenerio in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing one-day convention organized by the Apni Party Trade Union leader, Aijaz Kazmi at Gandhinagar in Jammu today, Bukhari referred to the problems being faced by the traders community and urged upon the Government to address their issues on priority.
He said that people, especially related to trade had to face immense problems after the post-August 5 scenario and to resolve all these anomalies the restoration of Statehood remains of pivotal importance.
Ensure 24Ã7 electricity supply in Jammu during summers: JKAP

JAMMU, Apr 1: Apni Party vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir has urged the Govt to ensure supply of 24Ã7 electricity supply in Jammu during hot summers.
Mir said weather conditions become harsh and unbearable for people during summers in Jammu. Therefore, the Govt must ensure people do not suffer due to unscheduled power cuts and supplied uninterrupted power supply through the day and night.
In his address, Ghulam Hassan Mir reiterated demand for the empowerment of people of Jammu and Kashmir with the restoration of statehood and holding of Assembly elections.
Speaking at a function organized to felicitate newly appointed District president, Jammu district, Pranav Shagotra at Gandhi Nagar in Apni Party Office, Ghulam Hassan Mir said that the people of the erstwhile State feel disempowered with the downgrading of J&K into a Union Territory.
We will hit streets if statehood not restored: Bukhari

SRINAGAR, Mar 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party president, Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari, today said that they will not hesitate to hit the streets, if New Delhi fails to restore the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion of first foundation day anniversary of J&K Apni party at Srinagar, Bukhari said that much was promised in 1947, but nothing was given back. “We have to fight for the restoration of statehood to J&K. Our demand also is to hold Assembly elections as soon as possible,” he said.
