Chennai, Feb 21 (IANS) India’s atomic power major Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) will soon connect its second 700 MW Pressurised Heavy Water
Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal directed the power utility to expedite the relocation of HT/LT lines and provide 33 KV power connection for the plant’s site from an alternative source in order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the project.
Providing an update on the project’s progress, Project Director, GHAVP, Niranjan Kumar Mittal said, “Seventy-four per cent of the ground improvement work has been completed."
