Bill Pchajek was hard at work Thursday, packing up his belongings some of which were newly acquired via donation hours earlier in the shack he built himself on top of what remains of an old bridge that once crossed Omand's Creek, near Polo Park mall.
Bill Pchajek has built a shack for himself and his dog Gabby on the bank of Omand's Creek. He says health problems, including multiple infected teeth, prevented him from working and caused him to lose his job and housing.
