Process to get that in the city of boston. Nothing happening in Downtown Boston but we will have snow and rain showers off to our south and west and then it does move through metro boston between say 7 00 and 9 00 tonight with an intense burst of some rain, maybe even a rumble of thunder on the south shore. Thats how much rain is in the atmosphere. The whole thing will wind down this evening. I think in the city of boston its going to end with a few snow flakes and showers with flurries lingering back into the worcester hills. Farther west one to two inches of snow likely up until about 8 00, 9 00 and then its all over. Inside 128 it starts as rain and then it will end as just a little bit of snow. So a quoting coating to perhaps an inch is possible in the city. On untreated surfaces it wont take much. Poor travel conditions going on. By midnight tonight again conditions rapidly out. Road crews do their thing. Not anticipating any issues for tomorrow mornings compute. Thanks so much. L

This guy is making route 9 eastbound safer for it the traffic that is moving slowly but is moving in kind of the typical rush hour traffic which is of course falsely named. Nobody is rushing around right now. Namely just because of the volume of traffic. Weve got flurries and weve got kind of a haze on the road here, just a little bit of slickness but nothing too much thats going to slow down the drivers. Weve seen a number of salters and sanders laying down the material anticipating the weather ahead but right now more traffic than weather causing trouble. Back to you. Dan, thank you very much. We know the people in worcester are hoping they wont have to deal with plow and parking problems tonight. The snow is already on the ground at central massachusetts. They are expected to see it stick. Trucks are out of the roads there too trying city streets saw during last nights storm. Ke
