Victoria Bush has been teaching art at the Cody Elementary Schools for three years. I ve got one kiddo that, you know, he does struggle academically, but he s got kind of like a spunk, she said.
Bush said the student always wants to do the assignment his own way. And I think that maybe it can be tough in the classroom. But I think within art that s exactly what you re looking for.
She said he s so creative and really comes out of his shell when he s creating art in her classroom. It s amazing to see a kid that does struggle maybe in other classrooms and other settings really feel proud of something that he s doing, and really be a leader in the classroom, whereas maybe that s not an opportunity that he would get otherwise, said Bush.

President Joe Biden signed four executive orders to promote racial equity in his first two weeks in office.
The orders included reaffirming tribal sovereignty, ending federal funding in private prisons, condemning discrmination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and ending discrimination in federal housing policy.
“I think they’re a good start,” said College Democrats of Illinois President Daniel Green. “I was most interested in the executive order that the Federal through the Department of Justice is using private prisons because that’s a really important step. The idea that no one should make a profit off of incarceration is really important to racial justice and obviously I don’t think it goes far enough, but it’s a really good start.”

A children’s clothes bank, which has officially opened at a town’s community centre, is urging families who have been left struggling not to be embarrassed to use their services.

But Victoria Bush, senior pastor who set up the clothes bank, said more families need to know that the support is there if they need it.
he s been very latino friendly and immigration friendly and jeb bush knows that he needs to own it. my question is what about the silence of the others? so we see the hand grenades that trump is launching and jeb bush is standing his ground but what about walker? rubio? who is not mexican american, but it latino also and to me silence speaks volumes. so if i don t see these gop candidates come out against donald trump, i m going to assume that they re in line with this what is it? are they scared of him? i mean jonathan we aren t hearing them challenge trump. he s not afraid to go after them. i mean he s not afraid to go after the republicans. listen to some of this the last year of things that he said. just in the last few months. i think bush is an unhappy person. i don t think he has any energy. and i don t see how he can win.
something, needs to change its image, its policies, that appeal to folks in each of those categories, to have someone in the republican presidential race, on that republican presidential debate stage, hurling hand grenades like mexicans are rapists comments is only going to distract the party from the mission that it needs to accomplish if it ever hopes to win the white house again, but also distracts all the other candidates from talking about real issues. victoria bush commented on trump s comments, but so far, he s the only one. are you surprised that i been so quiet they have been so quiet? i m not surprised. bush through a line in the sand and said i m going to be the latino-friendly candidate, and also the more moderate gop candidate. he can t run away from his past.
