A group of Bower Primary School children in their World Book Day costumes.
Pupils and staff at Keiss and Bower celebrated World Book Day on Thursday by dressing up in costumes based on their favourite book characters and taking part in a range of activities.
At Bower Primary School, pupils dressed as Spider-Man, Peter Pan and a unicorn among other characters. Staff also dressed to impress, with Vicki Ross as Bad Nana, Claire Henderson as Betty OâBarley and Sara Davidson as Fantastic Mr Fox.

Keiss pupils enjoying their Christmas lunch.
Primary children at Keiss and Bower have been making the most of technology to enjoy a series of festive activities.
Keiss pupils created a class song, while those at Bower live-streamed a Christmas show, and Santa recorded video messages from his grotto for youngsters at both schools.
At Keiss there was also a real-life visit by the Grinch ahead of the school s Christmas lunch.
