the president doesn t care particularly to vet anybody in there administration. do we know how the vetting process works, even if there s a team of people at the white house? there is a team of people who handle that at the white house and they work for the chief of staff in this case john kelly, so this is raising new questions about john kelly s role in overseeing all of this. as part of the vetting that is done, there are often times conversations with, in this case, it woulders on the hill, whether or not the nominee would have an easy nomination process. it appears that that conversation didn t even happen. so if the white house isn t doing the careful vetting on the small things, what sort of big picture issues are they missing as well. mitch mcconnell was asking the nomination process a moment ago, let s play that. with regard to the jackson nomination, i m waiting to hear from both chairman isaacson from the administration, what they believe the way forward should be, a
