Today senators debated on a bill introduced by democratic senator pam jochum that would stop the privatization of medicaid in iowa. 11 18 15 so heres it folks we have a chance today to say, stop. Governor branstad introduced the with the january 1st. But the federal government stepped in, noting the program wasnt ready, and delayed that start date to march 1st. Police say up to 3 people entered the building and opened fire at a conference area where the San Bernardino county department of Public Health was having a banquet. They were armed with long guns, not handguns. Steve debbie alvarezs daughter was inside the building. She texted me and said she was told, and she told me she was shot in her side. And they were pretending to be dead because these guys were still out there. Steve president obama sent his condolences to the victims and once again called for tougher gun laws. Pres.
