It was a cold Christmas morning in the national capital on Monday as a thick layer of fog covered the city while the air quality improved from the "severe" to the "very poor" category, officials said.
The overall air quality in the national capital continued to hover in the 'very poor' category on Thursday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
According to data shared by the CPCB, the AQI at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was recorded in the 'very poor' category at 345 on Thursday morning at 7 a.m. The AQI for R. K. Puram was recorded at 360 in the 'very poor' range. Further, as per the CPCB, the AQI was recorded in the 'very poor' range at 358 in the Anand Vihar area at 7 am.
