Two highway road workers were hit by a vehicle on Highway 16, west of Mannville, on the morning of Dec. 16.
Employees of Emcon Services were working in the eastbound lane when they were struck and injured by a vehicle, according to an RCMP Dec. 17 news release.

A 58-year-old man was transferred via STARS to an Edmonton hospital and a 50-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Vermilion Hospital and then to Edmonton for further care.
The 25-year-old driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.

Two males from Emcon Services were working in the eastbound lane when they were struck and injured by a vehicle travelling eastbound on the highway.
