the reason that all of us were all over the board on this is we were all dealing with a standard that could be anything. half the people were talking as if simple negligence would do it. the other half seemed to be requiring an intentional act. that is a problem with the law. so to get in to that a little bit deeper as i understand it, the prosecution didn t need to establish intent for these charges, man 1 or man 2. based on what the judge told me, sounds like the jury probably was not supposed to take into account the remorse that kim potter showed on the stand or the remorse that she reportedly showed that day in april on the scene after she shot duante wright. does that is that part of the equation that needs adjusting in your mind? part of the reason a hung jury would have been a benefit
