The application introduces a novel concept of using mobile based app for issuing e-Challan. The mobile based access to the system is available only to enforcement officers through android smart phones. While the web based access is available to all the rest of the stakeholders, mobile based access ensures the services are available anytime anywhere. This application is built in line with the requirements of Vahan 4 and Sarathi 4 and shall be accessing and updating data from/to national databases.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) introduced ‘Parivahan’ web interface for tracking digital traffic and challan solution using which you check your e-challan status online.

HSRP: UP govt makes High Security Registration Plate mandatory for all vehicles, issues fresh deadline
The government has mandated all vehicles sold in the country to have a high-security registration plate (HSRP). After Delhi, now the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has also made High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) mandatory for all categories of vehicles in the state.
All the vehicle owners will have to get High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) affixed on their vehicles by July, 2022. Vehicle owners have 1.5 years to apply for an HSRP number plate on the portal bookmyhsrp.com. The vehicles without HSRP and stickers in Delhi are being fined Rs 5,500.

New Delhi: The Delhi Transport Department has made it mandatory for vehicle owners in the national capital to install high-security registration plate (HSRP) and colour-coded stickers for all vehicles sold before April 2019. Violators in Delhi can be fined up to Rs 10,000, which is compoundable to Rs 5,500 under the amended Motor Vehicles Act.
The department circular said, General public is hereby informed that the installation of High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) including the third registration mark (Colour coded sticker) on new and old vehicles registered in NCT of Delhi is a mandatory requirement.
