Vehicle filled with pills, meth leads to charges for pair | News, Sports, Jobs

Mar 6, 2021 BROCTON A pair pulled over by New York State Police in Fredonia are facing a number of drug charges. Troopers charged Joshua Heimerl, 24, of Dunkirk for three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container. Kelsie Briggs, 28, of Brocton was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. A vehicle in which Heimerl and Briggs were passengers was pulled over on Thursday for a traffic violation and while speaking to the occupants, Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
