Al Meera and MME launch ‘Local Produce Festival’  28 Feb 2021 - 9:09 Vegetables are showcased at an Al Meera outlet under Local Produce Festival. The Peninsula Doha: Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (QPSC) has launched its traditional ‘Local Produce Festival’ in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME). The festival was launched on February 25 and will run for two weeks featuring a variety of vegetables and promotions at the retailer’s branches.  The initiative is in line with Al Meera’s long-standing support for Qatar Farms Programme and Premium Qatar Farms Programme under the sponsorship of the MME. The retail giant is currently spread over 50 localities in the country giving producers, and SMEs in the food industry the opportunity to showcase their products to the marketplace at prominent shelf spaces whilst simultaneously provides its wide-customer base access to fresh high-quality products at great prices.
