The shooting happened at about 1130 tuesday morning, bringing dozens of Oakland Police chp officers and Alameda County sheriffs deputies to the school. The campus was placed on lockdown. Officers detained four individuals, two of whom were placed under arrest. Oakland Police Captain jake bassett says officers recovered a gun. Police would not say if those in custody are students at skyline. Investigators say they werent prepared to discuss what led up to the shooting. Officers conducted a methodical search of the campus and thankfully there were no reported injuries. Parents rushed to campus waiting for hours to reunite with their kids streets near the school were jammed as word spread of the shooting. What do we know . Reporter chap gave an update and we know it was a road rage incident that ended with a shooting not far from here. Were told it happened on the 280 near the Crystal Springs offramp. The 50yearold driver was struck twice by bullets on the shoulder and back of the head near the neck area. After getting shot, he drove toward burlingame where they found the victim and his car on the southbound side of 280.
