The issues are affecting people around south London with complaints reported by residents in Croydon, Mitcham, Morden, Tooting, Wimbledon and Raynes Park. Social media website, Twitter picked up reports of water issues from as early as 8.30 am today (January 28). Thames Water have confirmed their engineers are working on the issue in SW17. The odourless discolouration was caused by maintenance work. To be clear it is not contaminated water, said Thames Water. Tooting MP Dr Rosena Allin-Khan tweeted a photo of a glass of her dirty water.
