Responding to a question whether he had already taken the COVID-19 booster shot, he answered: “I was hoping that I wouldn’t get too knocked out. I did for about 24 hours. Now I’m fine.” The top infectious disease doctor added he received his booster shot on Jan. 19, which was 28 days after he received the first dose on live television Dec. 22.

Correio da Manha that she “was okay” and had no health problems. “She had the COVID-19 vaccine, but she didn’t have any symptoms. I don’t know what happened. I just want answers. I want to know what lead to my daughter’s death,” he said.
